Vincci: Style from the far east

One of my many quests is to find the right size & quality handbag that works for daily use. Since I always over pack my daily requirements and don’t like over sized bags, finding a bag that is perfect is still under progress.

Today I am reviewing my latest purchase, which is a black handbag with gold garnishing from Vincci. With its branch in Forum Mall Karachi, Vincci is a Malaysian brand with a variety of casual & formal shoes and handbags. I am not entirely happy with the quality of their shoes (which I will be reviewing in upcoming posts).

But for now lets talk about the bag. I bought this bag on a sale for Rs. 4,000, but it was originally priced at Rs. 7,000, which I feel is quite steep.

A medium sized bag with gold garnishing looks very stylish and looks quite formal. The gold accessories are of good quality and compliment the black. I have been wearing this bag to work and hangouts and it seems to look good with western as well as eastern outfits.

A printed cloth lining adorns the insides of the bag. This is usually where the problem occurs. The cloth lining for most of my bags has torn. And the Vincci handbag seems to have a similar non-durable cloth lining as well.

This bag only has one main section with three small pockets inside, one of them being a zipper. Although I usually like the bag to have more sections/pockets, I got this mainly for its stylish gold garnishing.

  • Lining is not very durable
